Over 4000 members of the dental practice team attended GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare’s (GSK) 25th year of Talking Points in Dentistry held at 9 venues across the UK, and were treated to 3 topical and thought-provoking lectures.

BDA Conference & Exhibition, 20th – 22nd May 2010, Liverpool
GSK & Aquafresh supported a special presentation by Professor Liz Kay, Dean of Peninsula Dental School in partnership with Stephen Hancocks OBE, Editor-in-chief of the British Dental Journal and renowned lecturer.
The presentation was on the topic of “Motivating Patients to Better Oral Hygiene” and discussed how dental professionals can motivate child and adult patients to improved oral hygiene once they leave the dental practice.
IFDH Conference, 1st-3rd July, Glasgow
GSK are proud to be Gold Sponsors of this year’s conference and exhibition and will support 3 special presentations.
On Friday 2nd July a special Talking Points in Dentistry lecture will be hosted by Corsodyl on the topic of “The tissue is the issue – motivating your patients to be gum smart”.
This exciting and interactive session will be presented by Mhari Coxon. Attendees will be eligible for CPD accreditation for attendance.
As part of the main conference programme Biotène will support a presentation by Mike Lewis on the topic of Xerostomia on Saturday 3rd July at 13.45. This will be followed at 14.45 by a presentation on the subject of Fluoride Uptake, supported by the Aquafresh Better Brushing Programme.
