Mark Hill – Dental Surgeon Mark Hill graduated from Kings College, London in 1992 and he has a long and well established career working in Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry. He has a special interest in toothwear and accepts referrals for such cases. Mark has studied with some of the UK’s leading cosmetic & restorative consultants in Berlin and at the Kois centre in America and was awarded his Masters Degree in Restorative Dentistry in 1996. Mark has been a Vocational Dental Practitioner trainer for 8 years and frequently lectures at a regional and national level on the subjects of toothwear and restorative dentistry. Mark bought and became principal of his progressive city centre practice – Churchill Way Dental Practice – in 2000. He has developed this into a recognized class leading practice serving Cardiff’s city centre professional clientele. His practice is underpinned by a philosophy of preventative dental care and maintaining dental health for life. His practice was a finalist in the 2005 and 2006 Private Dentistry Awards and Mark has also been nominated for the Leading Wales Business Awards. He is a member of the British Dental Association, the Royal College of Surgeons of England and The British Society of Restorative Dentistry. |

Amanda Gallie – Dental Hygienist
Amanda Gallie is passionate about teeth, gums and communication.She is a Dental Hygienist with over 15 years of experience during which time she has amassed a wide range of skills from hands-on clinical expertise, lecturing, teaching and writing. Amanda qualified in 1996 and was awarded the Stafford Miller Prize for the highest theory mark attained in the Dental Hygienist Examination at Manchester University Dental School and was the 2007/2008 runner up in the UK Hygienist of the Year Awards. During her career she has worked in a variety of sectors of the dental profession including specialist periodontal practice, the hospital sector and industry. Her specialisms are communication and behavioural change. Amanda has recently carried out research in nursing assistance for the dental hygienist and dentinal sensitivity and tooth loss. Amanda is a Tutor Hygienist at Kings College London and works at 53 Wimpole Street, London. |
