How To Protect Tooth Enamel
Tooth enamel is the hard, white, visible, outermost covering of your teeth. It is also your body's first line of defence against tooth decay. Therefore, it is important to know how to protect tooth enamel and prevent tooth erosion. Fail to protect enamel and it will wear away, exposing the dentine layer underneath which is duller and yellow in its appearance.
Aside from regular visits to the dentist for routine check-ups and teeth cleaning, although remembering that dentists or hygienist cannot fix enamel erosion as enamel is not able to regenerate itself once worn away, here are some ways you can help protect tooth enamel and keep your teeth healthy, strong and white:
